This issue is also controversial between the Shi'a scholars and there is no single opinion about that. This survey, that has descriptive-analytic method, examines the scope of Imam's knowledge in terms of transmitted method. This is done by collecting and categorizing the Hadiths, examining their validity and, finally, analyzing them. The result of this study is that the knowledge of the infallible Imam is not limited and enclosed in the circle of the teachings of religion, but is much broader, and includes things like past and future events, the deaths and disasters, the inner of human beings, all languages, the language of animals, knowledge of the first and the last, and even the world of rest and resurrection, and the conditions of heaven and hell. گستره علم امام، همیشه مورد اختلاف علمای شیعه و سنی بوده و بحث مفصلی را به خود اختصاص داده است. این مسأله بین علمای شیعه نیز مورد اختلاف بوده و نظر واحدی در این زمینه وجود ندارد. نوشتار حاضر که با روش توصیفی- تحلیلی سامان یافته، به بررسی گستره علم امام معصوم: از حیث نقلی‌ می‌پردازد. این امر، از طریق جمع‌آوری و دسته‌بندی احادیث باب، بررسی صحت و سقم آنان و در نهایت، تحلیل مضمون آنها صورت گرفته است. حاصل پژوهش به این امر منتهی شده است که متعلق علم امام معصوم محدود و محصور در دایره معارف و احکام دین نیست، بلکه بسیار گسترده‌تر، و شامل اموری همچون حوادث گذشته و آینده، منایا و بلایا، باطن انسان‌ها، تمام زبان‌ها، زبان حیوانات، علم اولین و آخرین، و حتی عالم برزخ و قیامت و احوال بهشت و جهنم است. https://www.kalamislami.ir/article_87735_0c901fefcae46ba984225aa72df0825c.pdf
