This descriptive-analytical article has examined the opinions of Khatunabadi and Mulla Sadra about the soul and has come to the conclusion that according to Mulla Sadra, the reason for the inability of human science and reason to understand the truth of the soul is the greatness of the soul; But according to Khatunabadi, the source of the dispute about the truth of the soul is its verbal form, which is a generic noun and has a general meaning. According to Sadr al-Mutalahin, the soul, in the simplicity of existence, cannot be discovered except through divine knowledge; But Khatunabadi sees this view as a result of Sadra's intellectual basis in material movement, which according to Khatunabadi is invalid. In general, it should be said that the difference in the views of Mulla Sadra and Khatunabadi is due to the difference in their philosophical foundations. Khatun Abadi does not accept the essential movement, the unity of existence and the definition of existence presented by Sadr al-Mutalahin and considers them invalid; Therefore, his point of view, where these principles are involved, is rejected and rejected by Khatunabadi. میرمحمداسماعیل خاتون‎آبادی از فلاسفه قرن یازدهم مکتب فلسفه تنزیهی اصفهان، در شرح اصول کافی، ذیل روایات باب روح، به نقد نظرات شارحان دیگر الکافی، به‎ویژه صدرالمتألهین پرداخته است. ملاصدرا نیز از فلاسفه مکتب اصفهان در قرن یازدهم و متقدّم بر خاتون‎آبادی، پایه‎گذار حکمت متعالیه بوده و شرحی بر اصول کافی نگاشته است. این نوشتارِ توصیفی-تحلیلی با رویکردی انتقادی، نظرات خاتون‎آبادی و ملاصدرا ذیل احادیث روح در الکافی را بررسیده و به این نتیجه رسیده است که طبق نظر ملاصدرا، عظمت مقام روح باعث ناتوانی علم و عقل بشر برای فهم آن شده است؛ امّا خاتون‎آبادی اسم جنس و عام بودنِ معنای روح را منشأ اختلاف می‎داند. از نظر صدرالمتألهین روح در عین بساطت وجود، جز از طریق علم الهی قابل کشف نیست؛ امّا خاتون‎آبادی این دیدگاه را ناشی از مبنای فکری او در حرکت جوهری می‎داند که به نظر او، باطل است. به‎طورکلی باید گفت تفاوت دیدگاه‎های ملاصدرا و خاتون‎آبادی ناشی از تفاوت مبانی فلسفی آن‎ها است. خاتون‎آبادی حرکت جوهری، وحدت وجود و تعریف وجودی که صدرالمتألهین ارائه می‎دهد را نمی‎پذیرد و آن‎ها را باطل می‎داند؛ بنابراین دیدگاه وی در جایی‎که این مبانی دخیل است، از نظر خاتون‎آبادی مطرود و مردود است.   https://www.kalamislami.ir/article_202119_802391e4d31fb7167cfa4f019ac8445d.pdf
