There are two main views on the present existence of Heaven and Hell: Most Islamic scholars believe in the present existence of Heaven and Hell, relying on numerous quranic and narrative reasons. Others, of course, deny their present existence by criticizing their positive reasons, and some of their rational and transcendental reasons, and believe that God will create Heaven and Hell in the resurrection. Views on the position of Heaven and Hell are also different; some have stopped and attributed their knowledge to God; but others have considered heaven above heaven and hell at the bottom of the earth, and some believe that heaven and hell is at the heart of this universe. یکی از آموزه‌های مهم اعتقادی که در منابع دینی به آن پرداخته شده، وجود بهشت و دوزخ است، البته دانشمندان اسلامی بهشت و دوزخ را از زوایای گوناگون مورد بحث قرار داده‌اند که در این مقاله تنها وجود فعلی بهشت و دوزخ و جایگاه آن‌دو مورد بحث قرار می‌گیرد. در باره وجود فعلی بهشت و دوزخ دو دیدگاه عمده مطرح شده است: غالب دانشمندان اسلامی با تمسک به دلایل متعدد قرآنی و روایی، به وجود فعلی بهشت و دوزخ معتقد شده‌اند. برخی دیگر البته با نقد دلایل مثبتان، و طرح پاره‌ای از دلایل عقلی و نقلی، وجود فعلی آن دو را انکار کرده و براین باورند که خداوند بهشت و دوزخ را در قیامت خلق خواهد کرد. در مورد جایگاه بهشت و دوزخ نیز دیدگاه‌ها متفاوت است؛ برخی در این مسأله توقف کرده و علم آن را به خدا واگذار کرده‌اند؛ اما برخی دیگر، بهشت را فوق آسمان‌ها و دوزخ را در قعر زمین دانسته‌اند، و عده‌ای نیز بر این باورند که بهشت و دوزخ در باطن این عالم قرار دارد https://www.kalamislami.ir/article_101052_3cec71c1070fd792e73a5c9a6cedef17.pdf
